Set in the late 1940’s, this original murder mystery comedy written by Connie Newhook takes place at the U.S. Naval Facility in Argentia. The Base Commander is being awarded a prestigious medal and his wealthy twin brother along with his entourage have arrived in Argentia for the event. The famous USO show is the backdrop for a murder that yields plenty of suspects and with the help of a hard-boiled detective who has been flown in, the plan is to solve the case in quick fashion.   Scorned lovers, gambling debts, and some good old-fashioned blackmail presents a goodly amount of motives for Jake Hanlon, P.I.
